Hyundai Creta

Hy Introduction The  Hyundai Creta Automatic Petrol  has been with us for three months now. We have extensively used it in the city and on the highways in order to tell you about some of its pros and cons. This long-term review wrap-up report will point out just that. Take a note of these points before you decide to buy it. The good things 1.  Automatic gearbox To ease their gear shifting hassles in the ever-increasing traffic, customers are choosing an automatic car instead of a manual. And the Creta's six-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox does this job very well. It’s very smooth and the gear shifts happen without any jerks, making the Creta quite a joy to drive around. 2.  Engine and ride The 1.6-litre petrol engine has an awesome refinement level and isn't a petrol guzzler. The Creta has a balanced suspension set-up to offer a comfortable ride. It dismisses broken roads with ease and also handles well according to SUV standards. 3.

Tata Tigor

Tata Tigor What is it? With the success of the Tiago, Tata seems even more confident of the Tigor doing well (which is essentially a compact sedan version of the hatch). Despite the recent lull for sedans in favour of crossovers, the Indian manufacturer is sure of enticing the Indian buyer with its coupe like roofline and expected aggressive pricing. In terms of appearance, the Tigor doesn't look like a compromise as most its sub-4-metre rival’s look. The boot section is neatly integrated and thanks to the swooping roofline, it gives the Tigor a fastback like silhouette. Tata designers have also broken the rounded shape of the roofline with the integrated spoiler which avoids monotony. The boot design is done tastefully too, with the LED effect wrap-around tail lamps and the chrome strip running across lends it a premium look. Upfront front the Tigor looks exactly the same as its hatch sibling, albeit some cosmetic additions. So you get the same signature Tata sm

Volvo S60 Polestar

Volvo S60 Polestar What is it? You could easily say it’s the coolest and the most charismatic Volvo. The brand that has always gotten itself associated with safety and unassuming comfort has been aiming to reach out to more buyers with the utterly luxurious XC90 and more recently, the S90. Now, Volvo India has taken a step forward in a whole new dimension wherein a four-door sedan isn’t purely a luxury tool, but a great all-rounder with supercar-chasing performance and looks to match.  Say hello to the all-new S60 Polestar – Volvo India’s most dynamically capable offering yet.  Designed and tuned by Volvo’s global racing arm Polestar, this particular S60 focuses solely on usable performance and everyday practicality which is akin to its rivals including the Mercedes C43 AMG and the Audi S5. So what do you get? For starters, this is a fairly comprehensive makeover. Polestar, in fact, uses the S60 T6 trim as the base for the aerodynamically optimised bodywork that

Jeep Compass

Jeep Compass What is it? Why will I buy the Compass?  Has most of the signature Jeep attributes and more. Why will I avoid the Compass?  Perceived quality isn't as good as the competition and lack of dealer network can be an issue. As soon as the prices were announced for the  Jeep ’s iconic  Wrangler  and the  Grand Cherokee  last year, excitement was turned into disappointment. For all their capabilities and talent, the asking price wasn’t justifiable. So will Jeep’s brand-new Compass be plagued by the same issue? Well on paper it shouldn’t. Although prices aren’t out yet, we expect Jeep to price the Compass competitively as the right hand drive version is produced here with localization close to 65 per cent.  Based on the Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade platform, the  Compass  measuring at 4395mm in  length, 1818mm in width and 1640mm in height is actually smaller than the Hyundai Tucson and the VW Tiguan in every direction. So ideally it should be lighter, wh
